Adding the Extended Edition DVD completes your feature set and adds the Theatrical Version in SD. You still won't have the Theatrical Version is HD. If you can live with the Theatrical Version in SD then the CORE set is the best option. Likewise, since the Extended Edition DVD has a complete feature set, if you would rather have the Theatrical Version is HD and don't care if the Extended Version is in SD, then your best CORE set is the Theatrical Edition Bluray and Extended Edition DVD. |
