This decision is really a toss up. The Standard Bluray has only the trailer but if you get the combo pack that includes the DVD, that DVD includes all the features not found on the Bluray. Later, the MVD Rewind Collection put those same features on that Bluray release but they are still in standard definition. So really the only thing you gain from the new MVD Rewind Collection is all the features on one disc and the ability to watch the HD film while the commentary plays. At this time the Bluray/DVD Combo Pack is still much cheaper than the MVD Rewind Collection Bluray release but that may change over time. |
