It's missing features exclusive to the Director's Edition DVD and also doesn't include the features on the Next Generation Motion Picture Collection Bonus Bluray or the 50th Anniversary TV and Movie Collection Bonus Bluray. If you are an original crew only movie person and you don't plan on getting the Next Generation Motion Picture Collection Bluray (along with the Bonus Bluray in it) then you might be better off opting for the Stardate Collection Bluray. |

Keeping in mind the caveat about the Next Generation Motion Picture Collection Bluray from the SINGLE release recommendation comments, adding the Star Trek 50th Anniversary TV and Movie Collection will round out your feature set. It's expensive to be a Star Trek fan and a special feature completist as this combo is not cheap and will leave you with duplicate discs for every original crew movie. |
