NOTES:
Getting a complete feature set for this film is frankly, more expensive than it is worth. In reality it would be best to take the CORE set and then add those specific releases that have features that appeal to you. That said, here is a rundown of the remaining releases. The Hollywood Classics DVD has an exclusive Poster Art Gallery however, the 40th Anniversary Edition has a gallery with posters that probably overlaps most, if not all, of the content so we have included the 40th Anniversary Edition instead simply because it is easier to find. Skip the Fright Night Horror Classics DVD because the features are all generic and (other than the Cast and Crew Bios) not specific to the film. Skip the Special Collector's Edition DVD as all its features are found in the CORE set. The Living Dead box set DVD has a brief "Making Of" feature which consists solely of clips from the film with narration describing the making via quoting articles and such, nevertheless it is included in the COMPLETE set. Add the Legend Films/Rifftrax DVD for the exclusive Rifftrax Audio Commentary. The Silver Screen Collector's Edition is left off. It has Production Notes not found elsewhere but the subject matter of the notes is likely in the content in the CORE set. Skip the Double Feature DVD as its Still Gallery contains only images from the film. Unless you are a big Elvira fan, you can skip the Elvira DVDs but, of course, if you want a shortened version of the film with Elvira Intro and Outros then add that release. Add the 40th Anniversary DVD for the Still Gallery (the other features are already present in the CORE set) and finally, if you want the movie in Anaglyph 3D then add the 3D version. Note that that release is not included here because it is not a high quality 3D and is better skipped.
