1- 1- Because this movie is in the public domain it has been released on various barebones DVDs. These are referred to here as "Various Releases DVD" and includes releases from VCI Video, ACME DVD Works, Frolic Features, S'more Entertainment, Film Detective, American Pop Classics, Goodtimes, Platinum Disc, Echo Bridge Entertainment, Alpha Video, Front Row Features, Nightmare Collection, Brentwood Home Video, Genius Entertainment, 50 Movie Pack Horror Classics, Ronan Group Archival, Pop Flix, Catcom Home Video, Digiview Productions, Team Marketing, Archival Classics, American Pop Classics, Mr. Fat Video, and Krb Music. Often times the film is packaged as part of "Vincent Price Collection" with other Vincent Price titles in the public domain.
2- Some of these releases have minor features like select bios.
3- Two sided releases have both the Fullscreen and Widescreen versions but the single sided version of this release contains only the Widescreen Version.
4- A single trailer appears on this release.
5- This release also includes an "Intermission" during the film which is two commercials in an attempt to create a drive-in atmosphere. They are not indexed here as they are not relevant to the film.
6- The Still Gallery on various releases do not necessarily contain the same content.
7- The Warner Bros. DVD uses a 1.78:1 Aspect Ratio, the 50th Anniversary Edition DVD uses a 1.66:1 Aspect Ratio, and the Bluray release uses a 1.77:1 Aspect Ratio.
8- These are generic facts that are not very interesting and are widely available online.
Vincent Price Collection II Bluray |

NOTES: |
This title is a mess of releases due to its existence in the public domain. Most releases that contain any features are exclusive features which makes collecting the features a real pain. The best single release is the Bluray but it is only available in the Vincent Price II Collection. |

50th Anniversary Edition DVD |
||||||
NOTES: |
Add the 50th Anniversary Edition DVD as it has the most exclusives. That gives you the majority of the substantial features. |

Legend/Rifftrax DVD |
Cheezy Flicks DVD |
||||
NOTES: |
Add the Legend DVD for the Rifftrax Audio Commentary, the Colorized Version of the film, the Color trailer, and the original Press Book. It also contains a colorization demo for those who care. Finally add the Cheezy Flicks released DVD for the 13 second Vincent Price Introduction (or skip it if you like). If we assume the Still Gallery on the Westlake Entertainment released DVD is the same as the one on the Bluray (or worse simply stills from the film) then it isn't needed. Likewise the Trivia from the Great Scary Movies DVD are generic facts about the film widely available elsewhere. |
